ChinaChallo Autumn 2026

Registrations are now open for our Autumn 2026 Canton Fair delegation — covering Beijing, Canton Fair and Yiwu Market. View the full itinerary — seats are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What a Canton Fair delegation actually is

The Canton Fair — officially the China Import and Export Fair — is held in Guangzhou every April and October. It runs across three phases, each covering different product categories. It is the largest trade fair on earth, drawing over 310,000 overseas buyers from 223 countries and regions each edition.

Attending as part of a delegation means you travel with a group of fellow Pakistani businessmen, led by an experienced team that has made this trip multiple times before. The logistics, the visa, the accommodation, the Canton Fair badge, the interpreter — all of it is handled. You show up at the airport and focus on business.

This is different from attending independently, which requires you to arrange every part of the trip yourself, navigate a foreign country without Urdu or English being widely spoken, and solve problems alone when things go wrong.

The three phases and what they cover

The Canton Fair runs in three consecutive phases, each lasting about five days, with a short break between phases. Each phase covers different product categories.

Canton Fair Autumn 2026 phases and product categories
PhaseAutumn 2026 datesProduct categories
Phase 115–19 Oct 2026Electronics, machinery, hardware, building materials, chemicals, auto parts
Phase 223–27 Oct 2026Consumer goods, gifts, toys, home décor, sporting goods, pharmaceuticals
Phase 331 Oct–4 Nov 2026Textiles, garments, footwear, food, office supplies, cases and bags
Which phase do you need?

Most Pakistani importers in electronics, hardware or auto parts attend Phase 1. Traders in garments, home goods or gifts attend Phase 2 or 3. Some products span multiple phases — confirm your category on the official Canton Fair website before choosing your option.

Our Autumn 2026 delegation options

ChinaChallo runs two delegations per year — Spring (April–May) and Autumn (October–November) — aligned with the two annual Canton Fair cycles. Each trip covers the Fair phases most relevant to Pakistani importers, along with Yiwu Market and Shenzhen. Full dates, day-by-day itinerary and booking details for the current open delegation are on the itineraries page.

Autumn 2026 now open

Solo vs group: what actually changes

Some businessmen ask whether they should just go independently. It is a fair question. Here is what the comparison looks like in practice.

Going solo

On your own

  • Arrange your own M visa and invitation letter
  • Book flights, hotels, transfers independently
  • Obtain your Canton Fair badge alone
  • Navigate Guangzhou without Urdu support
  • Find and vet factories yourself
  • Negotiate without language support
  • Handle problems alone when they arise
  • No peer network for advice or deals
With ChinaChallo

With the delegation

  • Group L visa processed — we handle the paperwork
  • Flights, hotels and transfers coordinated
  • Canton Fair badge included in package
  • Bilingual team with you at all times
  • Factory visits to pre-vetted suppliers
  • Interpretation support during meetings
  • Team handles any issues on the ground
  • 30+ fellow Pakistani businessmen in the group

What the package includes

  • Group L visa processing — we manage the application as a group, which simplifies the process significantly compared to an individual application
  • Canton Fair badge — your official entry credential for the Fair, which must be registered in advance
  • Accommodation — hotels in Guangzhou, selected for proximity to the Fair venue and value
  • Airport transfers — pickup and drop-off coordinated as a group
  • Bilingual team — our team speaks Urdu, English and Chinese, and travels with you throughout
  • Factory visits — curated visits to vetted Chinese manufacturers, arranged around the Fair schedule
  • Yiwu Market visit — a dedicated day at Yiwu, with guidance on how to buy effectively
  • On-ground support — any issue that comes up — a supplier problem, a product question, a logistics matter — our team handles it

Who attends our delegations

Our delegates range from first-time importers who have never been to China before, to experienced businessmen making their fourth or fifth sourcing trip. The common thread is that they are Pakistani businessmen who want to source from China — importers, e-commerce sellers, wholesalers, retailers and manufacturers looking for raw materials or components.

The group dynamic is part of the value. Delegates share supplier leads, compare prices, and make introductions to each other. Several have formed long-term business partnerships with fellow delegates from the same trip.

The visa for group travel

Delegates on our trips travel on a group L visa. This is processed by our team as part of the package — you provide the required documents and we handle the application. The group nature of the application is a genuine advantage: embassy processing of group applications from an established travel organiser is more straightforward than an individual first-time application.

The full details of how group L visa processing works, and what documents you will need, are on the China group visa page.

What it costs

Package pricing varies by option and is confirmed at the time of application. The package covers visa processing, Canton Fair badge, accommodation, airport transfers, bilingual team support, factory visits and the Yiwu day.

International flights are arranged separately. Our team can advise on the best routes and timing from Lahore and Islamabad once your seat is confirmed.

Cost comparison point

Many delegates find that the package costs less than arranging the same trip independently — once you price individual hotel rooms near the Canton Fair venue, business-class transfers, an interpreter, and a Canton Fair badge facilitation service, the group rate is usually lower. And the experience is substantially better.

Common questions

Do I need to have imported from China before to join?

No. A significant portion of our delegates are attending the Canton Fair and travelling to China for the first time. The delegation format is designed specifically to support first-timers — the bilingual team, the factory introductions and the pre-departure briefing all reduce the learning curve significantly. Experienced importers attend too, and the peer network in the group is useful for them as well.

What is the Canton Fair badge and do I need one?

The Canton Fair is not publicly open — entry requires an official buyer badge, which must be registered in advance. The badge is what grants you access to the exhibition halls and allows you to meet exhibitors. It is included in all ChinaChallo packages and is arranged by our team as part of the group registration process.

Can I bring my own interpreter or do I need the team's support?

You do not need your own interpreter. Our bilingual team handles all communication during factory visits and supplier meetings. If you have a specific supplier you want to visit independently, that is fine — delegates have time for independent meetings outside the structured programme.

What happens if my visa is delayed or rejected?

Group visa applications processed through an established company with a track record have a substantially higher approval rate than individual first-time applications. In the rare case of a processing delay, our team follows up directly with the visa centre. We have not had a group application rejected to date, though we cannot guarantee individual outcomes as the final decision rests with the embassy.

Is Yiwu Market worth visiting or is it just added to fill the itinerary?

Yiwu is genuinely worth visiting, and many delegates come back saying it was the most productive day of the trip. The Yiwu International Trade Market is the world's largest small-commodities wholesale market — over 70,000 booths across multiple districts. For Pakistani importers in consumer goods, gifts, toys, home products or garments, Yiwu often yields better prices and more variety than the Canton Fair. It is about two hours from Guangzhou by high-speed rail.

Can I extend my stay in China independently after the group returns?

Yes. The group L visa allows you to stay for the duration shown on your visa. If you want to extend your stay for additional supplier meetings after the delegation departs, you are free to do so within your visa validity. Our team can advise on extending in-country or applying for additional visits.
